The rain is suffocating inside the clouds
The leaves are burning in agony
I pluck flowers often
and place them in my books
wondering anything beautiful needs to be preserved.

And the rain fell, the clouds heaved in happiness, the parched skin now relaxes and Spring leaves replace the autumn wilt.

I missed the spring this year due to lockdown and it’s getting heavier to survive without all the flowers. I wish there was a way out but thank you for a beautiful comment.
